CLINICAL CASES
Dental Crowns

The replacement of previous incongruous crown restorations, or the presence of elements that have suffered significant loss of tooth structure, often makes it necessary to use full dental crowns.
The use of all-ceramic materials makes it possible to achieve an ideal aesthetic result due to the absence of metal, which was present in traditional metal-ceramic crowns used in the past.

MY CLINICAL CASES

Replacement of metal-ceramic crowns with all-ceramic crowns

Patient request
The patient comes with a very specific request: she no longer wants to see that horrible black outline and line around her old dentures. The black line was due to the metal crowns, a material that, being dark, over time tattoos the gingiva around the tooth black and also makes the finishing margin of the crown itself visible.

Treatment and results
We re-prepared the teeth under the old metal crowns, corrected the old preparations and replaced the bridges with all-ceramic crowns. This material integrates perfectly with the tissues and neighboring teeth.

Improve tooth shape and color

Patient request
The patient does not like her smile, the yellow color and shape of her teeth. She also manifests occlusal problems, presenting with a left crossbite that has caused her joint problems.

Treatment and results
After careful study of the case, we made minimally invasive crowns, with which we were able to correct the defects, align the teeth, improve the shape, and give her very white teeth. By then modifying the occlusion, correcting her crossbite, we also eliminated joint problems.

Reconstruction of central teeth

Patient request
The patient presents with fractured central teeth caused by trauma.

Treatment and results
The three front teeth were devitalized and reconstructed to perfection with three all-ceramic crowns after harmonizing the gingival levels of the teeth involved in the trauma.

Central incisor fracture due to trauma

Patient request
The patient presents with a fracture of the central incisor due to trauma.

Treatment and results
In just two appointments, an all-ceramic crown was made using a minimally invasive technique with a thickness of 0.4mm.

Aesthetic correction of old fillings

Patient request
The patient wants to improve the aesthetics of his smile because he does not like his old incongruous and infiltrated fillings on his front teeth.

Treatment and results
Four all-ceramic crowns were made on the front teeth and harmonized gingival levels.

Improving smile aesthetics

Patient request
The patient wishes to improve the aesthetics of his smile by returning to a smile without shame.

Treatment and results
Several treatments and minor surgeries were performed to recover and restore the compromised teeth. Subsequently, we veneered her upper and lower teeth with all-ceramic crowns. A laser whitening session was performed in the lower anterior area to equalize the color.

Fabrication of new all-ceramic crowns

Patient's request
The patient wants to improve the aesthetics of his smile because he does not like all-ceramic crowns made on his central teeth, which are low in aesthetics and cheap.

Treatment and results
Two new, properly executed all-ceramic crowns were made, and the gingival levels of the two central teeth were made more harmonious.

Fabrication of a new all-ceramic crown

Patient request
The patient wants to improve the aesthetics of his smile because he does not like the old metal ceramic crown, which is incongruous, infiltrated, and of unacceptable color and shape.

Treatment and results
A single all-ceramic crown was made to solve the problem.

Fractured tooth reconstruction

Patient requests
The patient presents with a fractured devitalized canine tooth due to an improperly performed amalgam restoration.

Treatment and results
An all-ceramic crown was made, using the root of the devitalized tooth.
