Dental implant and incisive tooth insertion

Patient’s request

The patient wanted to fix his incisor tooth that had been fractured years before, thus returning to smile.

Treatment and results

After taking the X-ray, we noticed the residue of the root of the fractured tooth still in place; therefore we proceeded to remove the root and we inserted the implant along with some regenerative material so as to improve the osseointegration. After three months, we went on to repair the implant itself with a prosthetic crown that allowed the patient to regain tooth function as well as aesthetics and in the end she returned to smile freely.
